Opis tematyki badawczej/wdrożeniowej

My research topics are related to the development of vision-based applications (2D & 3D imaging) using machine learning and deep learning methods. In particular, my research interests lie primarily in the area of Artificial Intelligence, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, and Robotics. In separate but related work, my work also focused on the area of human-machine interaction and developing algorithms using various heuristic methods. The work related to the development of vision techniques that I carry out can be divided into the following areas:

  1. Vision-based human action/activity recognition (2D & 3D imaging).
  2. Development of data processing techniques extending the measurements of objects and scene background.
  3. Development of a method for measuring the geometry of the human body in motion from multiple directions at the same time using vision sensors.
  4. Development of methods for performing human-machine interaction using different sensors (both wire & wireless sensors).

Moreover, I am also involved in development work related to the practical use of defense mechanism for cyber security in Cyber-physical system (CPS). In particular:

  1. Network Intrusion detection for IoT related CPS.
  2. Machine learning based Anomaly detection.

Preferowana tematyka dyplomowania

  1. I'm open to a wide range of subjects but within the scope of 2D/3D imaging.
  2. I am also interested in topics related to imaging techniques of different areas of representation human body (human body in motion, human actions/activities) in the current subject of diploma.

I prefer to set the diploma topic together with the student after an appropriate consultation. This allows you to define a task that is of interest to two pages.
