Open Door days at the Faculty of Mechatronics!

Open Door days at the Faculty of Mechatronics!

How does it work? What is this made of? Is it possible to invent something different, better different? At Mechatronics, we ask these questions to come up with brilliant ideas. You don’t believe us? Come meet us on Saturday, 28 May, between 10:00 and 16:00. We’ll show you why it’s desirable to become a part of our community!

Please come to the Mechatronics Building at Boboli 8 street. We will be waiting for you:

  • A … show presentation of the faculty offer! 13.00 – 14.00, auditorium 11.
Red. Wiktor Niedzicki will present the most interesting research achievements of employees, PhD students and graduates of robotics and photonics. Robert Sitnik, Prof., will present the secrets of scanning, e.g. faces.
  • A presentation of  5 students research groups: 10.00 – 16.00, auditorium 6
Your older colleagues will tell you about their passion, enabling them to achieve further rewards in naational and international contests.
  • Open classes, 10.00 – 16.00
We will open our research facilities for you. Talk to the staff, post-graduates and students, ask them anything. It’s Open Doors, after all!
Drzwi Otwarte

And you can see what is going on here at the channel of Wiktor Niedzicki, where he writes:

Amazing Faculty of Mechatronics

An amazing faculty of Warsaw University of Technology, the Faculty of Mechatronics. Interesting research, amazing students study groups, wonderful employment perspectives. Sergiusz Łuczak, PhD, BEng, deputy dean, talks about one of the best faculties at PW.

Electronics in your shoe and heart

Submerged in the silence of sterile laboratories, scientists invent materials that change our lives. We have already created shoe soles that will remotely inform your doctor about your posture deficiencies or other problems with motor systems. Cardiac surgeons are awaiting another solution. Scientists have developed disposable, bio-correct electrodes for ECG measurements in operation theatres. These new developments required us to first develop new electronics and detectors for soft surfaces. These are the projects that Małgorzata Jakubowska, Prof.Tit., PhD, BEng from the Faculty of Mechatronics and the Centre for Advanced Materials and Technologies of PW engages in with her students. Listen to the conversation and visit the lab at CEZAMAT. Definitely worth it.

Painting with light

The use of light in measurement, holographic TV and medical diagnostics. A conversation with Małgorzata Kujawińska, Prof.Tit., PhD, BEng of the Faculty of Mechatronics. These technologies have already found their applications , new papers, wonderful graduates who today hold important positions across the world. Kujawińska’s entire life has been connected to the light. She helped establish several companies who today continue to generate revenue only owning to the skill of operating light.
