Funds for the scholarships come from funds collected during the University's Christmas Fair.
This is an exceptional distinction for students and doctoral students of Warsaw University of Technology who achieve success (scientific, sporting, artistic, other), participate in projects and events promoting our University, popularise science, engage in social and charitable activities. In this way, we want to recognise the contribution of these individuals to building the image of the University.
The laureates are selected from among the submitted applications. The selection is made by a chapter chaired by the Vice-Chancellor for Student Affairs.
The award has been granted since 2016. To date, there have been six editions of the campaign, during which we have awarded 46 talented students and doctoral students.
Who can apply?
Applications can be submitted by the authorities of the Warsaw University of Technology, deans of faculties and students and doctoral students on their own behalf.
The scholarship may be awarded to students or doctoral students who, between 2020 and 2022:
Each criterion is scored (see regulations for details). Additional points may be awarded for the diligence of the presentation.
The Christmas Tree Scholarship will be awarded to the candidates with the highest number of points. Winners of previous editions are not eligible to apply for the Christmas Tree Scholarship 2022.
