On behalf of CWM PW, I would like to inform you that the call for applications for this year's Ministry of Education Taiwan Scholarship programmes, MOE Taiwan Scholarship and Huayu Enrichment Scholarship, is now open. At the same time, I kindly request your assistance in making information about these scholarships available to the PW student community. The MOE Taiwan Scholarship encourages outstanding students to pursue undergraduate, master's and doctoral degrees at Taiwanese universities, while the Huayu Enrichment Scholarship is a programme that supports students to study Mandarin at accredited language centres for a period of 3 to 12 months. The first stage of application for the scholarships, i.e. submitting an application through NAWA's online system, will run until 29 January 2025.
On 31 March 2025 (Monday), the Warsaw Academic Fair will be held at the Batory Secondary School (Myśliwiecka 6 St.) from 12.00 p.m. to 4.00 p.m. The fair will be attended by students from secondary schools in Warsaw - last year there were approximately 500 participants. Therefore, we warmly invite students - representatives of our Faculty - who will be able to talk to us about the faculties, the Faculty and the rules of recruitment. We would like to kindly inform you that a place called BREAK ROOM has been created in room 104 on the first floor in the high part of the Mechatronics Faculty Building, which will be made available to students, doctoral students, staff and guests of the Mechatronics Faculty. The space will be used for dining and relaxation by what we hope will be a pleasant place to meet and integrate. A self-service café has been launched in the room, offering coffee at the level of the best baristas, thanks to the use of natural milk, 100% Arabica. In addition, from 7 January 2025, a catering company will provide breakfast and lunch meals twice a day, Monday to Friday from 9:45 - 10:10 and 11:45 - 12:20. The menu will include dishes for everyone: meat, vegan, vegetarian.
