The registration for the second edition of Students Days of Electroenergetics is open. This event is organised by the Institute of Electroenergetics in cooperation with the PW Faculty of Electrics. Fullbright’s Polish-American Commission invites students of biology-chemicals, biophysics, medical and related students to file their applications to the BioLAB Programme 2024-25. The applications will be open until 1 February, 2025. The people without Polish nationality must provide a certificate of completion of 1st degree studies (BEng or BA), aside from being an active student at a Polish university. Students and staff from the Warsaw University of Technology's Faculties of Physics, Electronics and Information Technology, Mechatronics and Automobiles and Working Machines attended a prestigious conference focusing on the modernisation of the ALICE detector, one of the key research instruments used at CERN. The event was attended by people involved in the development of research projects related to large-scale physical experiments. Our staff play a key role in the implementation of new technological solutions, including the development of detector mechanics and the creation of DCS systems. Their participation in the modernisation of the ALICE detector highlights the importance of Polish scientists in global Big Science research projects. More information
The Library Training Course will be available: October 2 – 31, 2024 (for all students who study in English as the language of instruction). The training is obligatory. The library training for the 1st year students is conducted in an electronic way on the Leon platform
