27th Science Festival in Warsaw

Welcome to the 27th Science Festival with workshops, demonstrations, educational games, lectures, exhibitions and lessons prepared by scientists and students from the Warsaw University of Technology. The fascinating world of science awaits the participants!

"Science is a journey into the future" - this is the motto of the 27th Warsaw Science Festival (15-29 September). These words refer to the activities of Paweł Edmund Strzelecki - traveller, geographer, geologist, researcher and explorer, patron of this year's Festival.

And the Festival itself? It is an event that annually brings together people interested in current research problems, research methods and discoveries in a variety of scientific fields. The event was established in 1996 by the Rector of the University of Warsaw, the Rector of the Warsaw University of Technology and the President of the Polish Academy of Sciences. The first edition was held in 1997.

Among this year's attractions, there really is something for everyone, and we recommend those prepared by students, doctoral students and employees of the Warsaw University of Technology.

Admission to festival meetings is free (unless it is stated in the event description on the Science Festival website that you have to register for it). Lessons are prepared for organised school groups and you need to sign up for them (on the Science Festival website).

The festival schedule is available at the PW main website.
