Humanoid is the winner of the award of the Students Research Group of the Year as a part of the StRuNa 2020

– An award as a part of the StRuNa contest is a great distinction - comments Adrian Stolarski, Humanoid Students Research Group Chairman.

Humanoid Students Research Group has (from the Faculty of Mechatronics) has received the main award in the Students Research Group of the Year category.

– An award as a part of the StRuNa contest is a great distinction, comments Adrian Stolarski, Humanoid Research Group Chairman. - It is a great testimony of our work and dedication, especially given the fact that our Group was reactivated barely three years ago. Over the cadence of Klaudia as the chairwoman, we have prepared the grounds for our work and started a number of projects. Then, my two years that followed allowed us to increase our engagement, executing between 11 and 17 projects annually, each featuring between a couple to a dozen people.

You can check the results of the Group work on their fanpage. The most imminent plans of the group are connected with the Octo project, which aims at designing and constructing independently working robotic arms that can extend the scope of human motorics.

– We are extremely proud of this achievement, we believe it is yet another step in a good direction which will enable us to undertake more, even more ambitious projects - says Stolarski.
