Using the Library

The Library users may utilise its resources upon presenting a student’s card (students, postgraduates) or a library card (employees). The library resources are available onsite or for takeaway.

The library resources are available to everybody, although the users not from the Warsaw University of Technology can only use them onsite.

The books can only be rented and prolonged in person, there is no option of renting or prolonging the rented books online.

The Library registers and makes its resources available as a part of the ALEPH integrated Library-IT system.

The Library users may also access online electronic files, full-content magazines and bibliographic-abstract databases.

The students and employees may rent books from other Warsaw universities. This access is granted the BG PW Students Book Rental (University Main Building, ground floor, room 71). For details on the BiblioWawa system, click here.

New books and those purchased by the Faculty of Mechatronics Library, as available in the Main Library Catalogue.

You may inquire about the books and magazines resources, electronic bases and recommend books to be bought (please substantiate such recommendations).
