Become a Mechatronics student - recruitment for second degree studies

In the summer semester 2022/2023, recruitment will take place for full-time second-cycle (master's) studies in three fields of study: 1) automation, robotics and industrial informatics, 2) mechatronics and 3) biomedical engineering. You are cordially invited

In all fields of study, studies will be carried out according to the tutor system - without specialisation. There is no recruitment for English-language studies in the summer semester.

The condition for initiating a candidate qualification process by WKR is registering in the online system at PW website: www.zapisy/pw.edu.pl.

Online applications starting from the summer term (20.02.2023) take place between 10.01.2023 and 03.02.2023. Once your application has been submitted, the system will set up IKR (Individual Recruitment Account).

The IKR account page , which has a system of thematic tabs, makes it possible to check and correct the data entered at registration and to read current announcements for candidates. Correction of data, including changes to the chosen field of study, can be made up to the moment of submission of the documents. Changes to the declaration of the course of study made after the submission of the documents will result in the candidate not being admitted to any course.

The enrolment fee is paid to an individual enrolment account number, different for each application. The account number is provided in the IKR communication after the registration procedure has been completed. In the body of the transfer, the applicant's number and name must be included. This bank account is for the payment of recruitment fees only. Payments should be made by the enrollment deadline in such a way as to ensure that they are credited. Late payment may result in exclusion from the recruitment process. The fee paid is non-refundable.

Applicants who have previously studied at PW must indicate this fact in the online form, along with the date of completing the studies and their thesis defence. If the date of the defence was set for a date after the closure of enrolment, the expected date must be given. This information is necessary for further processing of the candidate's documents.

NOTICE!

Even if you have not yet completed the first degree studies and you intend to do it by 13 February 2023, you must register and make the necessary recruitment fee.

A candidate is responsible for correctness of the data entered into IKR.

Registrants who have completed their studies at other universities or who wish to continue their studies at PW after a break are required to include a digital photograph in the registration form. The photograph must be in colour and meet the requirements of a photo for an ID card. ( size 300x 375 pixels, max. file size 250 kilobytes) The photo file must be uploaded to IKR by the last day of enrolment.

The candidates submit the following documents directly to The MFaculty of Mechatronics Dean’s Office room 122 - by 14 February, 2023 12:00 at the latest:

• a first-degree (or second-degree) diploma together with a supplement or a certificate indicating the date of study and a course card with the title of the defended diploma thesis. In the case of a diploma, the original must be submitted for inspection together with a copy of this document
• an up-to-date curriculum vitae (CV), including educational qualifications, employment and any professional experience
• 1 recent photograph - signed on the back with your name and surname
• proof of payment of the recruitment fee (if there is no information on the IKR about the payment having been recorded)
• proof of identity (for inspection)

Candidates without a diploma will be required to sign a declaration that they need to present their diploma by 30.03.2023

If you are applying for second degree studies directly after completing the first degree studies and you are a student of the Faculty of Mechatronics, you only have to submit the following:

•  up-to-date curriculum vitae (CV), including education, employment and any professional experience
• 1 recent photograph - signed on the back with your name and surname
• proof of payment of the recruitment fee (if there is no record of payment at IKR)
• proof of identity (for inspection)

Candidates who have not completed their studies by 03.02.2023 and plan to graduate by 13.02.2023 follow the same procedure as for those who have completed their studies, only instead of a diploma or certificate of completion containing the date of completion, they submit a certificate of the expected date of defence - this date should not be later than 13.02.2022 and bring a certificate of completion no later than 15.02.2022 (this may be a copy of the diploma examination report certified by the Dean's Office).

We anticipate that the meeting of the Faculty Selection Committee for the second degree studies will be held on 16.02.2023 at 10:15 a.m. and the list of qualified students will be announced on 17.02.2023.

NOTICE

A CANDIDATE for studies who is currently a student or graduate of a specific faculty, field of study, degree, profile and form of study at Warsaw University of Technology may not be admitted to the same degree, faculty, field of study, profile and form of study

( art.156 § 1 p.3 Of Administrative Conduct Codex).

Applicants with a degree from outside the Polish higher education system shall submit their documents in accordance with the guidelines available on the Warsaw University of Technology website.
