Jan Socha the winner of the 4th Polish Senior Cup in swordplay

Good news just after the long May weekend. Janek Socha, a protégé of  Michał Nowicki, PhD, in the Electronic Measurement Systems specialisation, currently finishing the sixth semester of his studies, became the winner of the 4th Polish Senior Fencing Cup. In the two-day tournament, the Hutnik Steel Wedge and the golden platter of the PRUIM company were fought for on Saturday, while the Antoni Franz Memorial was held on Sunday. Jan Socha and Mateusz Antkiewicz competed in the final. After a fierce finish, Jan Socha proved to be better by one hit. The fencer of the Polish Fencing Club of Warsaw won with 13:12.
