Library training

In line with the Rector’s Order no. 24/2021, dated 30/03/2021 the training is obligatory for all students:

• of first year of first degree studies
• of first year of MEng studies
• of second degree studies, for those who have not completed the training at PW

Library training is conducted via the Educational Platform of PW.

Login manual for the e-course:

• Students in the first year of the first degree programme and the first year of the unified MEng programme are automatically enrolled in the course in USOSweb.
• Students of first year of MEng studies (those who have not previously completed training at this University) and students who are not automatically enrolled in the course, can enrol themselves by registering for the subject in USOSweb. Select the subject 4310-00000-I0P-0001 Library Preparation and then click "Register" (Additional Group registration).  Access to the course will be active on the next working day after enrolment in USOS.

The training for the Faculty of Mechatronics will start at 12:00 between 6-16 October, 2022.

Each participant must login to the platform (https://moodle.usos.pw.edu.pl) using the manual below:

1. Select "Login" (top right of screen)
2. Select login using USOSW-wide accounts
3. The login and password are the same as for the USOSWeb system
4. Enter your login: your PESEL number or email address provided at recruitment (or the ID obtained from the dean's office of the relevant faculty in the case of those who do not have a PESEL number)
5. Enter your USOSWeb password. Students logging in to USOSWeb for the first time enter the password from the PW Recruitment system.
6. Select course 4310-00000-I0P-0001 # CWI # Library Training - Exercises.

If you cannot remember your password, please try to recover it yourself by following the recovery procedure in the application available at (password reset link). If there is insufficient data in the system, or if you are unable to recover your password yourself, please contact the Dean's Office of your Faculty.

Credits will appear in USOSweb in the second half of November.

Students who have done library training at PW in previous years may have their credit rewritten. Requests for transcription should be made using MS Forms [LINK].
