Main Library

1. PW Main Library is based in the main building of PW, at Plac Politechniki 1. Aside from books, it offers numerous additional services, as well as space for individual and group studying.

2. Once you receive your student ID, activate your library account.

3. You only need one account to access the resources of the Main Library, its branch offices and the faculty libraries..

4. You can find all books, magazines and other materials in one online library catalogue.

5. Aside from printed materials, the library can offer access to electronic sources:

• education-supporting tools, like. Grammarly (correction of English texts)
• literature-management tools, like: Mendeley, Zotero
• databases, e.g.: IBUK Libra, or Ebookpoint BIBLIO. You have access to numerous books recommended by the OKNO lecturers, including:
  • Neural networks for data processing
  • Signals and systems. Exercise book
  • Designing digital databases. Supplementary materials for laboratory
  • Solved Problems in Numerical Methods for Students of Electronics and Information Technology.

6. You may use the electronic sources while being on the PW premises (without login) or outside (e.g. at home) upon login to your library account.

7. You can use complimentary scanning services onsite at PW ML to get fragments of books or remotely order paid scanning services.

8. During the academic year, the library is open between Monday and Saturday - the opening hours are presented on the library website under the Opening hours tab and on Facebook.
