Noble Gift 2024

We have already got used to the fact that in late November and early December, our Faculties and PW student residences designate places where donations can be brought in as part of the Noble Parcel. This is also the case this year. The needs do not change either - we are waiting for long-term food, cleaning products, household items such as blankets, towels or bedding. You can also help without leaving your home - through online fundraising. We encourage you to visit the pomagam.pl website and make a donation. Any amount will be greatly appreciated.

As usual, the action will be accompanied  by several special events. We will open Noble Ice Skating Ring (2-3 December) and a table tennis tournament (5 December). All details are available at Facebook.

The action is coordinated - as usual - by the Self-Government of Students of PW. 

Who is the beneficiary of our help?

Natasha and Ivan are a loving marriage. They have escaped for a city under bombardment. Their block of flats, including their newly renovated flat - was turned to rubble. Ivan used to work as a construction worker, Natasha was a nurse at the department of oncology. Several years ago, Ivan discovered he has a brain tumour that prevents him from undertaking strenuous physical work. Natasha’s eyesight rapidly declined - she can barely distinguish light from darkness. They live in a refugees camp. Full story is available at the Noble Package website. 

Many years ago Tetiana contracted a series of vascular diseases. Five years ago she finished her job and led a simple life of a pensioner. When war broke out, she was forced to leave her motherland, together with other inhabitants of her village. Tetiana is unable to work full-time or part-time.
