The grand finale of the “Mechatronics, Automation, and Robotics”

The grand finale of the "Mechatronics, Automation, and Robotics" (MAiR) Competition is behind us! This year's edition of the nationwide competition organized by our Faculty has come to an end! The competition was fierce—nearly 300 students from 39 schools across Poland (as many as 71 teams) took part! On May 27, the finalists faced a formidable engineering challenge. Their task was to program a modern collaborative robot (cobot) to autonomously pick orders. This required advanced vision systems and the development of a logistics algorithm. The difficulty level? Extremely high!

Here are the winners of this year's competition:

• 1st place: Team "MEHAX" – Mechatronics Technical School No. 1 in Warsaw
• 2nd place: Team "H.A.U." – Mechatronics Technical School No. 1 in Warsaw
• 3rd place: "MotionCraft" team – Warsaw Technical School of Cinematography and Computer Science

In addition to certified training, the winners earned admission to the Faculty of Mechatronics and the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at the Warsaw University of Technology, bypassing the standard admissions process! Welcome to the Warsaw University of Technology!
