Visit of His Magnificence Rector of Warsaw University of Technology at the Faculty of Mechatronics

21.05.2024

We hosted Krzysztof Zaremba, Prof.Tit., PhD, BEng, His Magnificence Rector of PW, at the open session of the Council of Faculty of Mechatronics. Gerard Cybulski, Prof.Tit., PhD, BEng, Dean of the Faculty, delivered the opening statement with a brief presentation of the history of the Faculty and its activities. Among the strong points of Mechatronics, he mentioned:
- the multi-disciplinary character of the Faculty (automatics, robotics, photonics, micromechanics, metrology, micro- and nano-technologies, biomedical engineering and more)
- The innovative potential (of the cadre and the facility)
- and the attractiveness of graduates from the perspective of prospective employers.
Olga Iwasińska-Kowalska, PhD, BEng, Dean for Studies, delved into a presentation on education on specific study courses and the planned didactic changes.
Michał Syfter, PhD, BEng, from the Institute of Automatics and Robotics presented his faculty
