We announce the start of „The Best of The Best! 4.0” contest

The support programme for the development of extraordinary students has started. The participants of “The Best of The Best! 4.0” contest will receive subsidies, enabling them to participate in international contests, competitions and conferences. The funds assigned can be spent on travel costs, initial payments or purchasing materials and apparatus necessary to prepare a project.

Wanted: Conquerors of Problems - the James Dyson Award

Today marks the beginning of registrations for the annual edition of the James Dyson Award. The contest is open for the present and former students of engineering studies.

EBEC Warsaw 2021 Engineering Contest

EBEC is one of the biggest engineering contests in Europe. Its goal is for the students to use the knowledge and skills acquired during their studies to solve practical problems. This is also an incredible opportunity to have fun with friends, as the competition takes place between teams of four people!

Nobel Prize for Students

The Nobel Prize for Students programme is a one-of-a-kind scholarship programme established by a students organisation. It is directed at the the most outstanding and ambitious students. The goals of the 2021 edition are to promote finalists with extraordinary achievements in various fields, both scientific and social ones, and to promote the development of science, literature and art, as well as to support the idea of voluntary services. It is a programme that at its core is designed to facilitate the development of passion and interest of young, promising artists, social service activists and scientists; it is also a further motivation to reach ever further, regardless of difficulties.

NCN OPUS 19 – PhD student position filled

Warsaw University of Technology Institute of Micromechanics and Photonics announced a call for PhD position within the NCN OPUS 19 Project: [PHAICELL] Coherent quantitative phase microscopy: revisiting the basics and proposing novel numerical reconstruction methods with applications for advanced label-free bio-imaging. Project committee has evaluated the applications and would like to thank all applicants.

Game of Code

You are most welcome to join the Game of Code. Its 6th edition is planned for April 9-10, 2021.

The 36-hours-long world hackathon is a perfect place to give the students a chance to show off their coding skills. It is also a perfect time meet international coding specialists and to be able to compare oneself with them.

Registration for COVID-19 vaccination for scholars

As announced, on February 15th Warsaw University of Technology initiates the process of individual registration for COVID-19 vaccination in the SAP employees system and the USOS system and it will last until February 18th. The applications will be gathered and sent over to POL-on system by a university project coordinator.

Writefull and Grammarly - test access

You are most welcome to test Writefull and Grammarly - the tools of language errors corrections in texts written in English. The software corrects grammar, punctuation, stylistics and orthography. The test access is open until February 15th for all PW students and employees.

Christmas presents - scholarships at our Faculty

It has become our tradition, for the fifth time the students and postgraduates of PW who strengthen the positive image of our university with their actions  have been awarded scholarships. Among those awarded there are three people related with our Faculty. Congratulations!
