PW Connects Us

We would like to invite you to participate in a unique event organised by Warsaw University of Technology - the ‘PW Connects Us’ conference, which will take place on 27 March 2025 from 10:00 to 15:40, in the Large Hall of the Main Building. Spark Poland

Do you have an idea for a novel therapy, potential drug, vaccine, diagnostic test or other medical device? Submit your team to the SPARK POLAND mentoring programme! Deadline: 20.03.2025 The SPARK Poland programme is a two-year intensive and systematic mentoring by experienced experts and practitioners, combined with access to research funding. The SPARK Poland mentoring programme will enable three winning scientific teams to validate ideas for new therapies, potential drugs, vaccines, materials, diagnostic tests and other medical devices.

Estimating and Forecasting Transportation Metrics - Lessons Learned Webinar

On behalf of the Poland in Silicon Valley Center for Science, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, whose partner university is Warsaw University of Technology, we invite you to a webinar to be held on 19 March, 2025 at 4.00 p.m. The presenters Laurence R. Rillet, PhD and Andrzej Nowak, PhD, will focus on a number of issues related to the use of simulation for estimating transport indicators, with particular emphasis on model assumptions and model calibration.

Information meeting for future managers of research projects funded by the National Science Centre

We would like to invite all scientists planning to submit applications for research projects funded by the National Science Centre to an information meeting. We particularly encourage young scientists and those of you who have no experience in applying for research projects to NCN and are lost in the maze of university procedures to attend the meeting. Library training course

We would like to inform everyone that during the summer term, the e-course Library Training Course will be available for all faculties between 24 February and 24 March. The course is delivered online via the PW Leon Platform. Every participant must individually login to the LeOn PW Platform during this period of time and undergo the training. "The publications of the so-called paper mills and predatory magazines should not be taken into account in evaluating the scientific and artistic activity of a given person or be counted as achievements during the processes of professional advancement of academic teachers” - declared the Committee of Polish Academic Schools (KRASP) on 7 February, 2025 in their communique on recommended actions aimed at elimination of unethical publications practices.
