Politechnika Warszawska po raz kolejny znalazła się w gronie uczelni notowanych w QS World University Rankings by Subject, edycja 2025, należącym do firmy Quacquarelli Symonds. Wydanie 2025 jest jak dotąd największą edycją tego zestawienia, uwzględniając 171 uczelni po raz pierwszy (głównie z Korei Południowej, Chin, Półwyspu Arabskiego). Łącznie w rankingu znalazło się ponad 1700 instytucji szkolnictwa wyższego (spośród więcej niż 5000 ubiegających się o miejsce). Polskę reprezentuje 29 uczelni.
