Planning logistical systems

RWTH Aachen University, a partner of Warsaw University of Technology within the ENHANCE consortium, invites students for the first ENHANCE online course entitled Planning Logistics Systems (5 ECTS). Conducted in English, the course will introduce participants to the key issues involved in planning and designing logistics networks, transport and warehouse operations from a quantitative point of view, using mathematical modelling techniques and optimisation methods. More

"Warsaw University of Technology during Warsaw Uprising" Exhibition

Eighty years since the outbreak of the Warsaw Uprising is a time that has passed, but not gone away. Numerous mementoes left behind by the heroic uprising of the capital's inhabitants can be viewed until 15 October this year in the temporary exhibition hall of the Warsaw University of Technology Museum at 22 Nowowiejska Street.

Scholarship programme of the Swiss government

The Swiss government's scholarship programme for Polish citizens provides scholarships for research stays (condition: obtaining a master's degree before 31 July 2025 - for candidates at ETH Zurich - 30 June 2025), PhD studies for young (born after 31 December 1989) master's graduates(condition: obtaining a master's degree before 31 July 2025 (for ETH Zurich candidates - 30 June 2025), and postdoc fellowships (age limit does not apply - obtaining a doctoral degree after 31 December 2021 and before 31 July 2025, for ETH Zurich - 30 June 2025) representing various disciplines.

ATHENS Programme

You are invited to participate in an international student exchange programme between leading European technical universities. The next session of the ATHENS Programme will take place from 16-23 November 2024 and consists of an intensive course (30 hours), a cultural programme of European Dimension Activities (10 hours). Start of Recruitment for the Capital City of Warsaw scholarship Programme

The call for applications for the John Paul II scholarships for students of the Capital City of Warsaw was launched on 1 September. Opportunities are open to those who, despite difficult financial, health or family conditions, have good results in their studies and achieve success in science, art, sports or are involved in various social activities. The John Paul II Thought Centre is waiting for applications until 10 October. Scholarships are intended for pupils and students studying in Warsaw. The call for applications for primary and secondary school students ended in July. Now students have their time to document their achievements. The monthly financial support available ranges from PLN 500 to PLN 1,500. More

Telemedicine and e-Health 2024

Information for 2nd degree studies candidates for the 2024/2025 academic year

The Faculty of Mechatronics at the Warsaw University of Technology will be recruiting for the 2nd degree studies (full-time master's degree) in the academic year 2024/2025 in the following fields of study: Automatics, Robotics and Industrial IT, Mechatronics and Biomedical Engineering. In all fields of study, studies will be carried out according to the tutor system - without specialisations.

Perspektywy 2024 Ranking

This is the fourth year in a row that our Faculty has been on the podium in the Perspektywy Ranking. Also this year, our Automation and Robotics turned out to be the best among universities and Biomedical Engineering took the honourable second place. We believe that next year will be similar!

Falling Walls Lab

Falling Walls Lab is a world-class competition for the timely presentation of breakthrough start-up ideas that brings together a diverse and interdisciplinary community of students and budding professionals, providing them with a platform to present innovative ideas. Participants are tasked with presenting the results of their scientific research or business ideas in just three minutes. The James Dyson Award

Nanoparticles appreciated

We are happy to announce that Agnieszka Jastrzębska,. PhD, BEng wrote an article that has been published in the Forbes Women magazine. The nano-technologist, a professor at the Faculty of Mechatronics, she was appreciated for her work on applications of nanoparticles in production of bioactive materials. “The nanoparticles I have discovered are highly effective in killing germs. They are an effective means of creating self-sterilising coats in places that are particularly exposed spreading germs. This is our main competitive advantage” - says the CEO of ADJ Nanotechnology.

21st of June 2024 – meeting with Toyota Gazoo Racing

Faculty of Automotive and Construction Machinery Engineering and Toyota Gazoo Racing are inviting to a meeting at 21st of June 2024 at the WUT Main Building. During the meeting there will be a presentation of the GR Yaris Rally1 Hybrid car and Toyota Yaris GR daily car. There are also meeting with TGR engineers, team and car presentation and Q&A planned. 

PhD Studies at WUT? Make your dreams come true!

Our PhD students are conquering Poland and the world! They have won the international competition for the James Dyson Prize, are regularly among our country's outstanding young scientists, and receive grants, scholarships and awards. Recruitment to our PhD School takes place in the form of a competition, within individual scientific disciplines. Registration for the winter semester of the 2024/2025 academic year is open in 15 disciplines. There are 115 places available for applicants, including five in biomedical engineering.
