We would like to invite you to a movies workshop on Wednesday, 10 April, 2024 between 16:00-17:00 in room 242. It will be an opportunity to meet the representatives of the movie industry, learn novelties about the equipment and to see the movies made by students in previous years. We will also prepare contests with awards :-)

Apply for the scholarship program with a total scholarship amount of $2,700 for up to 4 months. The scholarship will be awarded to the recipient every month from September 2024 to December 2024 (NTD 22,500/month, about USD 675). Application deadline: by May 25, 2024, and application results: June 15, 2024. Taiwan Tech retains the right to select and award the scholarship to qualified applicants. The scholarship recipient does not have to be accepted as an exchange student. Qualified students can only receive the scholarship once.

The POLITYKA Magazine Foundation for the 24th time invites young scholars to apply for the POLITYKA Science Awards.  

• The target: We are looking for people who during the last two years have achieved a milestone in their professional lives  - be it a PhD thesis, a book, a significant scientific article, completion of a research project, establishing a team or gaining a position of significance at a research institution.

The Perspektywy Educational Foundation is organising the sixth edition of the largest conference for women in STEM, Tech & IT in Europe and Asia, the Perspektywy Women in Tech Summit 2024, to be held June 12-13, 2024 in Warsaw at the EXPO XXI exhibition centre. The Summit will bring together more than 10,000 female students, professionals and leaders from the world of new technologies, 500 top industry experts and 100 major technology companies, as well as top technical universities from Poland and around the world.

The Entrepreneurs' Club of the Warsaw School of Economics - an initiative for SGH alumni and supporters developing, or wishing to develop, their own business - invites members of the Warsaw University of Technology to a meeting aimed at integrating the two communities to talk about business and commercialization of research results. Ambasada Republiki Słowackiej w Warszawie ogłasza nowy nabór wniosków o stypendia na pobyty studyjne, badawcze, rezydencje artystyczne i wykłady gościnne w roku akademickim 2024/2025. NŠP to program przyjęty przez Rząd Republiki Słowackiej, finansowany z budżetu Ministerstwa Edukacji, Nauki, Badań i Sportu. Program ma na celu wspieranie mobilności studentów zagranicznych, doktorantów, nauczycieli akademickich, naukowców i artystów poprzez zachęcanie ich do pobytów na uczelniach wyższych oraz w jednostkach badawczych na Słowacji.

We kindly ask for your support in carrying out a survey among students in the Faculty of Mechatronics. The survey will take approximately 11 minutes to complete and will allow us to gather all the information we need about how attitudes towards having or not having children are distributed among male and female students and what the correlates are. Warsaw University of Technology, Faculty of Mechatronics is conducting research under the Opus 23 grant entitled "A two-dimensional bio-platform for self-sustainable microbiome - 2DMICRONET", financed by the National Science Centre. The scientific goal of the project is to carry out fundamental investigations on MXene-based micro-domain networks, refining the scalable methods for their synthesis and engineering, and understand the microbiome co-operation within MXene-based 2D micro-domains. As part of the research tasks under the NCN project, the holder of post-doc position will be required to conduct scientific research, in particular, to create an advanced in-operando research approach using in situ Raman spectrometry with an exclusive workflow for the efficient validation of the MXene-based micro-domain networks as well as MXene preparation procedures.

The German Academic Exchange Service (Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst - DAAD) invites you to take a look at its scholarship offer for group trips to Germany. Such a trip can last from 10-12 days and can be attended by 10-15 students together with an academic supervisor. The amount of funding is €50 per day of travel for each participant. The Perspektywy Educational Foundation and Intel - as part of a long-standing collaboration to increase the participation of women in the new technologies industry - are launching the third edition of a scholarship programme for girls in STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics). The scholarship programme "New Technologies for Women - Ukraine" is aimed at Ukrainian female students, PhD students and high school graduates (starting their technical studies in autumn 2024) who are in a difficult financial/living situation due to the ongoing war in Ukraine. Warsaw University of Technology has been granted trial access to the journal collection of the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM) publishing house. The Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics is an international not-for-profit organisation with more than 13,000 members and nearly 500 academic, research and development units and government organisations. SIAM supports the development of applied mathematics and computer methodologies. Test access is active until 30 April 2024 for all users, from computers on the PW network and from any computer for users registered in the PW integrated library system.

ABW has offered training for students who are completing their engineering/master's degree at the Warsaw University of Technology in the current academic year. The offer is divided into three training blocks. The training is free of charge. Participants will receive an appropriate certificate.
