The students of our Faculty: Kamil Kwiatkowski and Przemysław Rył from the Humanoid student research group have scored first place in the Industry 4.0 contest during the Polish eliminations of WorldSkills Polska!

As a result, they will go to Shanghai next year to represent Poland during world championships. Congratulations and fingers crossed for further successes.

The Presidium of the Polish Accreditation Committee, upon reviewing the opinion provided by the team of technical-engineering sciences, the evaluation of the reporting team and the account of the University on the matter of the programme evaluation of the Mechatronics studies conducted at the Warsaw University of Technology on first and second degree studies, grants the following evaluation: positive.

Statista is one of the biggest platforms in the world containing statistics and market data, enabling access to over 1.5 mln statistics, prognosis, documents, reports and infographics, divided into 80 000 topics from over 22 500 sources. The platform is a database of market, consumer needs, public opinion reports and demographic trends. All data is readily available in different formats. The test access is active until May 12th, 2021 for users from the computers in the PW network and from any computer for users registered in the PW integrated library system.

This initiative is directed at all engineers who in the future would like to work in the space industry. This course is organised by the Industrial Development Agency S.A. in cooperation with Warsaw University of Technology.

Together with the Centre for Blood Donations and Blood Treatment, located at the Wołoska street, between April 26th and May 11th, 2021 we are gathering blood for those in need, the password is “Politechnika”.

The A Rh- i 0 Rh- are in a particularly short supply, but we encourage everyone to donate.

The registration takes place at CKiK by Wołoska street between 7:30 and 13:00.

We invite all graduates of Warsaw University of Technology of all studies connected with geospatial data and Geostudies and Teledetection, with a particular focus on the geoinformation data to take part in the IEEE contest. All papers graded with an A or a B by the supervisor and the revisor can be submitted to the contest. The deadline for submitting Individual Study Plans for the second degree studies is coming soon (the end of the 7th week of the term). Please file all documents to the following address: tutorskie.mchtr@pw.edu.pl. The plan of courses at the second degree studies for the next two terms will be presented soon. The registration for courses, confirming the programmes filed in the ISP will take place the several last weeks of the term.

PW joins the Girls to the Universities of Technology recruitment action, organised by Perspektywy Educational Foundation. This year, we meet virtually under the Studies of the Future 2021 motto.
