Functioning of WUT in the winter semester 2021/2022

The Rector's announcement on education and work in the coming semester has been published. We predict that education (in all forms) will be conducted in the mixed-mode, which means remote classes for large lecture and seminar groups and in-person classes in all other cases. At the same time, all employees shall resume the standard mode of work (remote work for an employee is possible only in specific individual cases).

Information on the new academic year is included in the Rector's Notice No. 2/2021.

Maciej Trusiak, PhD, BEng - OSA Outstanding Reviewers

We are delighted to announce that the work of our employee Maciej Trusiak, PhD, BEng. has been recognised by the Optical Society OSA. Trusiak has been included in a group of 25 people from all over the world as "OSA Outstanding Reviewers". It is worth noting that he is the second Pole and the first scientist from Warsaw University of Technology to receive this award. Congratulations!

Hone your skills with the Warsaw University Mobility Programme

A competition has been launched, as a part of which PhD students and employees of the University of Warsaw can apply for funding for such things as internships and study visits, trips related to conducting research for the dissertation or participation in summer and winter schools. The Tempest

"The Tempest" is one of William Shakespeare's last plays. Its film version was prepared by the Warsaw University of Technology Theatre to celebrate its 15th anniversary. The play features actors from the Warsaw University of Technology Theatre, as well as other artistic groups from the University: Choir, The Engineers Band Entertainment Orchestra and the Song and Dance Ensemble.

5th Erasmus+ Run - We beat the Polish!

On September 24,  teams of four will compete across Poland. Their goal is one: to run, anywhere and achieve the highest combined distance in 60 minutes.

Up to 200 first registered teams will be sent running packs containing sportswear and medals! Last year, the fourth Erasmus e-run, gathered almost 1400 willing participants!

ENHANCE Language tandems

We have opened registration for the project the main objective of which is to develop language skills and to enable the establishment of new contacts by employees and students of partner universities of the ENHANCE consortium.

ENHANCE Summer School at Warsaw University of Technology

Between 15-28 September this year, the Warsaw University of Technology will organize the "Green Campus - ENHANCE Summer School on Climate Change"summer school . The project is open for students of min. 3rd year of first-level studies and master's students. The deadline for applications is 15 August.

All mechatronics cheer on his student!

On Friday 23.07.2021, the 32nd Summer Olympic Games officially began, and with them the first performances of Poles. On the rowing track our representatives: Dominik Czaja, Wiktor Chabel, Szymon Pośnik and Fabian Baranski won their qualifying race. The Poles overtook the Italians by just 0.03 seconds, but that was enough to advance to the A Final.

We keep our fingers crossed for our rower

This year during the Tokyo Olympics we keep our fingers crossed for our student - Szymon Pośnik. Already on 23.07.2021 at 4:40 (Polish time) we will be able to admire his performance in the men's four-doubles qualifiers in rowing. He will take part in the competition together with Dominik Czaja, Viktor Chabel and Fabian Baranski.
