The National University of Technology in Odessa (ONUT) under the auspices of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the Black Sea Universities Network (BSUN) international organisation, invite you to participate in the International Contest of Students Scientific Papers Black Sea Science 2024 in the “IT, Automatics and Robotics” category. The goal of the contest is to broaden the international cooperation among students. The participation is free of charge. To participate, please supply a paper in English (of no more than 15 pages). Its purpose is to propagate the research on applications of AI and machine learning in solving problems from the area of computer vision, the problems that require abstract thinking, analogies establishing and rules deducing. Between 8-10 December, Warsaw University of Technology, in collaboration with BlueSoft, invites you to the AI Challenge Hackathon, which aims to recognise creative teams able to use artificial intelligence proficiently for software applications. The real prize for taking part in the hackathon is the opportunity to fund a pilot implementation at BlueSoft. If the winning team manages to come up with a solution worth implementing, the company will invite them for a paid pilot implementation.

The Team for New Technologies Law of WAiNS invites to a meeting entitled “How to Recognise a Prospective Startup”, presenting the investment policy of the VC fund. Date: 29 November, 2023 at 16:00. The Ministry of Education and Science has launched the #LudzieNauki project (#Peopleofscience). It is a portal on which everybody will be able to find information on Polish scientists. The website accumulated in one place the data of over 90 000 Polish scientists.  Each of them will have a separate profile there, supplemented with data on scholar achievements, education and employment, facilitated by universities and other scientific institutions. It will be possible to get notifications on new contests and opportunities for getting funding for research with the use of the portal.

Social Skills Training (Trening Umiejętności Społecznych – TUS ) – is a broadly used form of support for people experiencing difficulties  in relations, those willing to better understand their emotions and those of other people; those willing to develop the skills of effective participation in social life and those desiring to build their own value and strength to effect their will. Registration for the "Nakręcona Nauka" training course is open - a unique training created by scientists by scientists on creating popular science video content. This edition will for the first time take place at PW between 23-26 November 2023 at Rektorska 4 street.
